From Vulnerability to Resilience
Building pathways to independent adulthood.
ABIDE supports young women transitioning from care by connecting education, life preparation, economic opportunity, technology and meaningful partnerships. We believe leaving care should not mean leaving support behind.
The Transition
Adulthood should begin with opportunity.
For many young people, becoming an adult is supported by family, networks, guidance and resources. For a young woman transitioning from care, that journey can look very different.
Housing. Employment. Education. Financial responsibility. Identification. Banking. Transportation. Personal wellbeing. Career decisions. These responsibilities can arrive at once.
ABIDE helps build the bridge between leaving care and establishing a stable independent life. We focus not only on immediate needs, but on the capabilities, relationships and opportunities required for long-term independence.

How ABIDE Works
Four pillars. One goal.
ABIDE is built around four interconnected pillars designed to move participants from preparation to sustainable independence.
01
Holistic Education
Learning that prepares young women for work, life and a rapidly changing world.
02
Economic Empowerment
Creating pathways into employment, entrepreneurship, financial capability and income generation.
03
Stable & Safe Transition
Supporting the practical foundations required to successfully enter independent adulthood.
04
Sustainable Growth
Building partnerships and systems that continue creating opportunity long after a programme ends.
What Independence Requires
Independence is bigger than a job.
Successful transition requires multiple pieces working together. ABIDE programmes help participants develop access to education, skills, employment, entrepreneurship, digital capability, financial readiness, mentorship and the practical foundations of independent living.
Our objective is not simply programme participation.
Our objective is sustainable independence.
ABIDE helps connect the pieces.

Dignity comes first.
The young women ABIDE serves are not stories for public consumption. We believe meaningful impact can be demonstrated without compromising privacy, dignity or safety.
ABIDE therefore communicates differently. Our public communications focus on programmes, opportunities, partnerships, progress and collective outcomes rather than exposing the personal histories of individual participants.
Protecting dignity is not a limitation on our work. It is part of our work.
Our Impact
Measuring what matters.
ABIDE measures progress through outcomes that contribute to sustainable independence: capabilities built, opportunities created and pathways strengthened.
